currently doing nothing much in camp.. such a rare opportunity i have! haha.. anyway.. i really think that we have the best pastors and leaders in our church and i would never trade them for anyone else..

being in this world, people would always tend to look down on the youths.. but how many of you know our pastors would never do that and in fact they respect and honour us.. they always believed in the young people and because of that we can live our lives with a greater confidence inside of us..

during fop, pastors were giving credits to the youths of our church who made the awesome video.. back home he praised all of us because we literally conquered the indoors with our voices.. how many of you know that our pastors would always share stories about us when they meet people, but they were the ones who built the foundation and make this possible today ten years ago..

it's the month of august and im so happy and honoured to be able to serve in heart of God church and under the most amazing pastors and leaders.. 29 august marks the 10th anniversary for our church and im proud to be part of the family.. i really do..

the people in e6 makes my life as well.. (: they are such wonderful people and i enjoy my time by spending with them always.. loves the times how we always spend time together after service by just eating our dinners and catching up on each other lives after a busy week in school and in work.. always one of the highlights of my week..

sometimes you just get so caught up with the things you do in life.. it's always good to lay back and go back into the presence of God to align your thoughts once again.. been spending more time with God and i have seriously reaped the benefits of it so far..

just got outliers finally and i'm going to start reading it in camp now.. hehe.. love you guys!

Never Say Never - The Fray

There's some things we don't talk about

Love is a Decision, it is not a Feeling.

hmmm, just some random thoughts in my mind now before i go to sleep and awake for another week of battle in the army..

how we treat or give to a person can be determined in 3 levels..
1)importance
2)value
3)status

it's so easy to discern the conditions of the hearts of people just by knowing how they treat you.. whether they are genuine.. or whether they love you..

if we're going to win the lost, we gotta treat people importantly, value them for who they are and what they do, and credit them to the status as a human being because mankind has feelings :)

and love is a decision. love talks about your guts.. have you ever tried to make a decision to love someone and knowing that it could be a way one direction? hmmm perhaps love includes longsuffering as well..

but God has given us the ability to love and i would rather love the people because when we think of others more, there will be a lesser 'I' inside of us..

just typed this post because i want to grow to become a more sensitive person in life! Good night world! (=

i am counting the blessings that i'm in no other church rather than heart of God church, because we simply have the best pastors, leaders and friends among us to be with. Services just keep getting better every week and you just keep receiving and growing yourself to the next level.

i can't wait for what God has installed to us in the next few years time. this is going to be a history making church with history making people. i can't wait for people to find their own destiny in God and for the wounded and hurt to trust in God again. God is always faithful to His promises and in every good work God has started in your life, He will bring it to completion.

God is always faithful and good to us people. Though He brings us through valleys, there is always a purpose in every season God is putting into our hearts. We need to understand the timings and seasons God place in our lives, and walk according to His perspective, and not ours. Because he is a God who always think higher than us and even knew us before we were born! Let's be sensitive to the Holy Spirit today because it can only lead us to the place where we ought to belong.

Blessed is the man who trust and put His hope in the lord is found in Jeremiah 17:7!

We need to know how to identify with God when challenges come up. People will never give up on you unless you have given up on yourself first.

it's the start of another week today..

every start of the week, i will always evaluate how much i have given to God during the past week and whether i have given my best..

last week was another good one for me because i know i have tried to live a life for others as much as i can and its turning out to be not just a routine but something natural that's coming out from within me..

it's almost a year in army and many things have changed and happened during the past year.. i am so glad i am still giving my best to serve God despite all the circumstances surrounding me..

it's amazing how God uses his people sometimes.. God do not choose the most talented, the most charismatic or the most gifted in leadership to build His kingdom.. i am glad i am still being able to be used by God!

2 chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.

2 corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

we serve God by our character and commitment, not by feelings.

we love people through decisions, not through feelings.

faith is a reasoned trust and gift which God has given into our lives

it's either we keep it, or we misuse it.

goodness and mercy is all i ask for this season..

im a little sad now because im in the army camp doing my duty. im thinking about what's happening in zone camp right now and am anxious to go soon!

on the other hand, i really hope the zone camp will be a huge success! if at the end of the day, lives get touched, people get radical, relationships are formed then i am really happy already!

i felt that although im not in zone camp currently, it doesn't really matter because at the end of the day its about the majority. i pray and pray it will run smoothly! esp Garrett's and Pastor Troy's service. gonna be so impactful i believe..

love to serve the Lord! relationships can wait! hahahaha..

so bored in camp and i shall keep my blog alive!

hmm, lets talk about soccer! since it is the best game ever to be invented by mankind. (you can call me biased! hahah)

let's talk about my favourite team of all time.. liverpool!

so glad that they are doing really well in the league this season, but could have been better, as compared to previous seasons. we are just a point behind manchester sunited and even if they have a game in hand, i believe we're still in the title race!

long gone are the days since the dalglish and beardsley combination brought home the title for liverpool. and i do believe that benitez and gerrard are more than capable to achieve the same feat and be the club new legends!

i believed this liverpool squad is the best which i've seen since i supported the club in 1997. ive been the biggest fan of their midfield back then, which comprise of barnes, mcmanaman, redknapp and ince! dint see much of barnes because he was at his retiring age back then but he was a very powerful player always charging towards the defense of the opponents. mcmananan was the best dribbler of his generation, redknapp was the best passer of his generation while ince enforces and provides the steel of this midfield. whereas now, liverpool's midfield comprise of riera, gerrard, mascherano, alonso and kuyt. the five of them have provided so much balance to the team and the average age between the five of them is perfect. i liken alonso to be like redknapp, mascherano as the ince in the older liverpool days. barnes is a more of babel kind of player because both of them cuts in from the left with their right foot always, but riera provides the much needed width to spread the defense of the opponents. i love his flair and crossing, even though he is not ginola standard but good enough. kuyt definately can't dribble and pace as well as mcmananan but his hardworkingness to track back the defense and direct play compensates this weakness. with gerrard pushing forward above the four of them, this midfield is definately one of the best you can see in football. though you can argue spain has iniesta, xavi, silva and senna.

i really have this strong feeling that chelsea will win the CL and liverpool will win the epl this season. Well if manchester won the both of them this season, it will be good for their fans still. Don't write off arsenal too because every team in the top 8 has the chance of winning now. Besides they have arshavin and with adebayor on fine form, they look a good bet too.

A relationship with God is always simple

this week has been a great week so far even though i have to wake up at 630am tomorrow for a project meeting at raffles place.

had a great cg outing with xueli, huili, singhian and garrett at ecp on tuesday and we cycled all the way to the airport runway. if not for that piece of road block, we could have park our bicycles just outside the walkway of the runway and see huge aeroplanes flying off in front of our eyes. too bad it dint happen. haha. when we were cycling back, all of us are just simply tired and we have to lift ourselves up the seats because our butts were already hurting. it was such a funny scene. (:

jamie, hubert, pengwu, leon, huimin, jordan, felicia came to join us for dinner at parkway and jamie bought koi bubble for everyone of us. it was really sweet of her and we enjoyed a great fellowship together.

and the next day, gabriel, maryse and i rushed down to church to look for garrett and we went to this vietnamnese restaurant to have our supper. the beef noodles were awesome but a pity i did not finish up all of the soup. haha, it's so great to have life together with all of them. such a privilege to always hanging out with garrett and the rest because they are really my family and the ones i cherish and love who gives me an additional strength to go through my army days..

it's so happy to be in a relationship with God and church people. they're just so irreplaceable now and i thank God i'm in hoGc and no other where else.. it's an honour to run this race with them, it's a form of happiness to be able to go through battles and successes with all of them.

heart of God church is truly my home. (:

-and i pray for a breakthrough for E6 and every cgs in the zone this weekend because i love my zone and my leaders!

just have the urge to say this week was the most important lesson i have learnt through my two years walk in God so far..

i realised it's not about the title, glamour, what you are doing in God, but at the end of the day it's about character, knowing your identity and calling in God, and walking in divine strength to reach your full destiny in God.

we are weak, but our weakness is made perfect in His strength.

have courage, have determination, have faith.

be the crippled man who have stood up in faith and walk after he has responded to Jesus. Faith is responsive.

HOPE IS LOVE, LOVE IS HOPE.

Faith is responsive.

When you have faith, you see opportunities in every problem.

When you have fear, you see problems in every opportunity.

today was valentines day, so just want to wish everybody a happy valentines day..

haha.. personally its just another day for me but what makes me feel happy is i thank God i spent this "special" day with Him today in church.. Glad that God is my valentine for this year again.. haha.

anyway, guess life will somehow be a fixed routine for at least the whole of this year with army and pgsm. just can't wait to ord and really rise up and do more things in church.. i'm happy to serve in army and my guard duties, but guess i'll be much happier serving the highest God, pastors and leaders.

think as we grow older, we face more issues in life and it's never as straightforward to deal with them. but we can keep growing stronger and bigger as they come into our way and have a breakthrough in them. it's part of growing up process and i am happy to grow up. also we face more options in life and sometimes it may seem fresh and curious to us, but we too can choose faith and knowing having no option in life can sometimes be our best option.

it's 3:18am and it's my mother's birthday today, i would better be guai and do something for her.. haha

because your faithfulness never fails, my faithfulness will never leave.

God will make us GOOD in the end.
