Often we are like Sarah, we laugh at the vision. At first we are excited, but as time goes by and nothing happens, Gen 18:13….we often get cynical because time has passed and nothing has happened. But you know what, God says to Sarah why do you laugh? For I am not a man who will lie, and I have said that nothing is impossible with Me. Nothing is impossible with God. It may be difficult, it may take a while, but nothing is impossible with God…..all things are possible to those who believe.

i think this is also how we must run the race we have with God, just staying focus on what God has called us to do and lead us to, we need to focus on our own lane which God has prepared for us to run in it.

don't look left or right on other lanes, and if you think sometimes you might be lagging behind, the key is to run harder and harder

okay so random.. not trying to be funny but the reason why im typing all these is because i feel sad that i need to go back to army tomorrow morning at 8am and going through the mundane routines in camp again and again. haha.

anyway, talk about army.. i am very happy that i brought 3 friends to my church. i am happy because i feel that i am finally evangelising after two years in church and bringing people closer to God and knowing God makes me feel very meaningful when i am in the army. i hope i can bring all my friends in army to church one day. then i will really be happy because everyone deserved a chance to know God at least once in their life, isn't it?

i think nick vujicic is really a life testimony to all of us. he is a living testimony for jesus christ, and if you really don't believe jesus if you see what our creator has done in his life, then i dont really know what can convince you to becoming a christian unless an angel or something appears in front of you.

i admire his strong character, i admire his faith, i admire the way he looks and attacks his life. i love the way he speaks with confidence, i crave the way how deep and connected he has gone with God in his life before. no limbs, no legs, no worries!

oh well.. im getting tired.. anyway this sentence keeps ringing through my mind.. "the economy of the kingdom of God is simple." everything is simple with jesus in our lives. i pray the harvest will be too.. haha. just be simple.. just love jesus.. just focus on him.. and everything is gonna be alright..

think God is really moulding my life during the army.. i really think i changed quite alot on the inside..

i love what Pastor How preached last weekend.. we need to break that I inside of us.. don't always i here i there.. else we will really limit our destiny in God.. i thank God my life verse when i got water baptised this year was found in galatians 2:20..its no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me. how apt.

i love friday nights, just spent an hour reading some of the people blogs and catching up their lives. really great to know what my friends are doing and relieved all of them are doing fine. i'm fine too in the army and pgsm if you want to know. haha. (:

Change is neccessary for growth

i'll make this really quick. just packed almost half of my stuff, another half to go on the next two nights. can't wait to get over done with, and i'll be in a new environment living the next years of my life. can't wait for this last transition to go through, and i'll be really more or less settled down my life.

what a change i've experienced over the past 3 - 4 months. so many things happened, got into army, got into pgsm, moving into a new place. i'm still kicking alive and keeping the faith. too many transitions, too many changes, subconsciously it has all became part of me. rummaged and found many things in the past when i was packing the house, endless streams of thoughts just began to saturate my mind. funny how certain things which used to have so much value in the past depreciate over the years and you wonder this drastic turnaround. true, yet subtle.

changes are part and parcel and you have to adapt quickly else time will leave you behind before a blink of an eye. keep on keeping the idealism, setting your eyes on what's above and not beneath to run a good race.

change is good. change is necessary for growth.

Funny how God has created every single one of us so differently. The same message can be preached from the pulpit to the congregation, but funny how we can each received differently when God speaks to us. Everyone of us has different revelations in our lives because God wants to deal with us specifically. Every lives are different; we face different issue, we encounter different problems, we experience different lives. Everyone is unique, because we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Her Excellency Zanele Makina preached a powerful sermon which i want to remember the rest of my life. I wonder how frequent was his name being mentioned in the eyes of people. I wonder how much humility does he being described as the greatest prophet to ever exist by Jesus has in him when he prepares the way for Jesus to do miraculous works in the people lives and described Him as someone whose sandals he is not worthy to carry. Indeed someone who has the spirit of God inside of him and carries the humility inside of him wherever he goes. A great person who is willing to humble himself and carry the works of God. A person who truly carries the spirit of God and acknowledges God's desires and will above his. A person who walks in God's purpose and destiny.

He is John the Baptist, who said 'He must increase, but I must decrease.'

have you lay aside your pride to serve because you love and want to know the ways of God in your life?

This song is really nice. It is a happy song, it makes one feel truly that the joy of the Lord is our strength. It feels good to be close with God, he desires my intimacy and just as God was going to fufil the children of Israel of their promised land flowing with milk and honey but without Him travelling along with them, Moses said "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. A great leader who treasures the presence of God and chase after His heart.

God is a Good God. I've just spent an hour worshipping Him, praying in tongues, lifting my burdens up to Him and praise Him. I love every single minute of my life going deep in God's presence, i love every single lyrics in this song. I love God, because He just assured me that i am his child in whom he is well pleased. I can imagine He is like a Father who is always walking beside me every moment of my life, holding my hands into His destiny and purpose that He has planned for me. I am confident God has great plans in my life, i have a calling in Him. I know Davis has not brought me into Heart of God Church two years ago by any accident, I have a specific place, a specific calling, a specfic destiny in God. God brings us through different seasons in our lives, to strength us so that we will be ready for His harvest. He may bring us through valleys, tough tests, discouragements, faithlessness in our lives, but He will bring us through completion. The feeling of experiencing God's moulding, breaking, changing in our hearts are unexplainable, but keep the faith, fight a good fight, run your race with endurance and perseverance because God has surely something great installed in your life. God just challenged me to start seeing things in the fourth dimension, to see myself on top of every problems. God is our Healer, He is our Jehovah Jirah, He gave us a portion of hope.

These two years of army, i trust God to bring me to another level of intimacy with Him and take me to the next level in my character. The Church is the bride of Jesus Christ, it is a place where we can really experience the presence of God and the working of the Holy Spirit. The Church is the Oasis in the desert. I thanked God for placing me in Heart of God Church, i thanked God for having great Pastors and Leaders above me, i thanked God for the great friendships in Church.

Let's grow old together in this Church.. it is the best feeling. (:

i feel the urge to blog even though my mind is blank now. the time shows 3:49am and i should already be on the bed to have my beauty sleep. but sometimes, you just have to follow your heart rather than the mind that is telling you what to do. not all things follow logic and so here i am now! haha.

anyway, i love mondays! because it is always the day i would like to spend time alone to think of many things and as well as having a good rest after a long weekend. i won't get much mondays like this now because i'm going to serve my nation. so countdown to the next 13 days and my hair will be gone. i wonder how will i look like. hahah.

but today i did BM which was really meaningful. i think it's only my second or third time. it is amazing considering the length i've been in this church. but it was really fun doing with all the people and we even joked that we clean the church more than we clean our houses.

i am really excited for tomorrow! i'm going to meet up with xue li, hui li, diana, michelle, cheryl and kheng boon for ice skating in kallang leisure park. am looking forward to hanging out with these people and getting to know them better. :)

Pastor Tan's service and Garrett's meeting over the last weekend really blessed me tremendously and i obtained so much insights about my life and felt that everything just came up to another level in terms of spirituality. We need to be constantly moulded by God, Pastors and Leaders.

Before God can use you greatly, He needs to test you deeply. But above and beyond all that, we should always co-partner with Holy Spirit because it will give you the wisdom and work according to your favour in all circumstances. just a random thought before i sleep. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARRETT!

Caline - Awesome lady who came to her First Red Rain! She is a worship leader in her church and worships God with her braces. Indeed, with God all things are possible. Totally awesome young lady who likes Colbie Caillat like me too.

what an AWESOME week it was last week! heard so many about Pastor Cho and his church from Pastor How and Garrett and every single detail just blows me away.


to build a church of 750,000 people is truly an amazing feat, with everyone being so radical. this church is always praying! indeed God builds His house, else we labour in vain. Pastor Cho prays 3 hours a day, he is really the son of God. No wonder Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Our first calling is to be with Him, following after His footsteps in which He has laid according to His will before we were even formed in our mothers' womb.


when i am in my 50s or 60s, i want to be still excited for the things of God. a life of christianity has many challenges, but it is adventurous at the end of day. I'll grow up loving You..

i can't explain that moment of feeling after getting to see Pastors and Garrett today. although it was just a few glances, i love it. i just purely miss them.


and in the wake up of finding out why i will feel this way, i am determined to read up 1 kings and 2 kings.. this time round i will be detailed in my reading! i want to go into the life of elisha, a life that is so captivated and so determined to not only live for elijah but chasing after him!

can't believe i am actually back blogging.. but it's fun doing this all over again. anyway, red rain is here! 24-25 May! let's grab all our friends! it is the coolest thing in town for the month of may! the much anticipated rock concert, better than what you watch on american idol when david cook staged to mesmerize and captivate the audiences with his smooth sense of rock music, but RED RAIN is way better and professional i guaranteeee!
